I have Scoliosis, and I’ve had back pain since I was 13. I am now 62 and I can say for the first time in my life I’m waking up with no back pain. I need to be clear though. I have back pain unless I do my exercises. It can’t be just a once a week lesson with Darien. I’ve got to take what I learned from her and apply it in my life. And when I do that, I am much happier and the people around me who I love are happier. I can’t say it enough, how much I love and appreciate Darien‘s phenomenal gift in knowing how to apply the classical Pilates techniques to my personal physical issues. She is an intuit and can feel what the person needs and if that person is like me, they’ve grown up unaware of their body and how it all connects together. I now know how important it is to keep my spine healthy so that it can, in turn, keep me supported as I age. I take care of it, and it takes care of me! Thank you Darien!
